SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed regarding the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and more info there's no fully functional office focused on service the area regularly. The support issue produced for intervention activities a high influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who go to read more a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to enable the servicing of all consumers and raise usage of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
